Visiting Guidelines

  • Preview Week is hosted three times each academic year at SLS, and is your best opportunity to experience student life.. To stay updated on dates, please review the academic calendar, subscribe to text updates, or follow us on social media (@mercyculturesls).
  • For security purposes, all visitors are required to wear a name badge while on campus. Badges will be provided at check-in upon arrival.
  • Preview Week is a four-day experience offered in-person at our Fort Worth and Waco campuses, as well as online from anywhere in the world.
  • Childcare is not provided during Preview Week. We kindly ask guests to plan accordingly.

Preview Weeks

Preview Week is your opportunity to experience life as a student at SLS—both in person and online. For four days, you’ll be immersed in classes, worship, and community, gaining a firsthand look at what it means to be developed as a spiritual leader.

Preview Weeks are offered three times each year.

Parking information

SLS has open parking in our East Parking Lot for students and visitors. Please refer to our parking sitemap to find the exact location to park and enter the building upon arrival.

All classes and outreach opportunities at SLS are recorded. By attending or visiting, you consent to your image and likeness being captured through photography, video, or audio recording. These recordings may be used for educational, promotional, or archival purposes. Participation is considered consent, and no financial compensation will be provided.

We encourage all visitors to register in advance to ensure a smooth check-in process. However, walk-ins are welcome, and our team will gladly assist with on-site registration.
No. SLS is located on a closed campus, and visitors may only participate in classes during designated Preview Weeks. This ensures the integrity of the academic environment and the safety of our students.
No. At this time, SLS does not provide housing or transportation for visitors. We encourage guests to make their own arrangements for lodging and travel.
Yes. Family and friends are welcome to attend Preview Week. Please note that each individual planning to attend must complete their own registration.
Yes. Preview Week is designed to give you a full experience of life at SLS. Visitors attend Year 1 classes and have opportunities to interact with faculty, staff, and current students.
